John Wills joined BW&E as a shareholder in June of 1999. He is experienced in practicing before the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and state regulatory agencies. His clients are located throughout the United States and are comprised of domestic and foreign issuers and underwriters involved in private and public offerings of debt and equity securities. He currently is handling three public offerings for technology and telecommunications clients in Dallas, New Orleans, and San Francisco and several private placement financings ranging from $10 million to $15 million dollars. Recently, he served as company counsel for Evergreen Energy, Inc., an alternative energy and mining company with operations in the United States, in connection with a major public underwriting in excess of $150 million dollars managed by Jefferies & Co. He also handles corporate work, SEC registration statements for mergers and acquisitions involving public companies, and practices before the SEC and the National Association of Securities Dealers regarding regulatory enforcement issues.

Mr. Wills earned a B.S. in Business from the University of Colorado and received his law degree from the University of Denver College of Law. He is a former trial attorney and was branch chief of enforcement at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.
